About
AD Workbench is the secure, cloud-based ADRD data sharing, analysis, and interoperability layer of the AD Data Initiative technical suite. It offers researchers permissioned access to datasets, secure and collaborative workspaces, data analysis tools, and a community forum for research discussions and technical help. AD Workbench is available at no cost to qualified researchers.

Work with AD Knowledge Portal Data in the AD Workbench
Log In to The AD Workbench

Create your account: To begin, visit the AD Workbench homepage and click on sign up to register an account. If you already use Single Sign On (via google) you can use the same credentials to link your accounts.

Create a new workspace or request access to an existing shared workspace.
Send ADKP Data to your AD Discovery Portal Workspace

Create or login to your Synapse account.

Fulfill all access requirements for the data that will be exported to the AD Workbench. For controlled access data, this will require submission and approval of your Data Access Request. See: Access Data.

Ensure you are logged into ADDI’s AD Discovery Portal first, and then follow the instructions to send AD Knowledge Portal data to a TRE: https://sagebionetworks.jira.com/wiki/spaces/APD/pages/edit-v2/4879417367#Getting-Started

Follow the on-screen prompts to: 1) Choose AD Discovery Portal as your analysis platform, and 2) Select your target workspace.

Once complete, your selected files will be available in the selected workspace.
